We are “The Winners.”
Our wins were limited by this world, but we realized that our wins can go further than that. Our team came up with the theme “Winning Out of this World” to show that our ideas and aspirations don’t have a limit.
Everyone on our team is a winner, and we want you to be a winner too. By buying one of our products you will support the youth of Detroit through a donation to FATE student scholarships.
Now your wins will go further than just us so that we all win.
Oftentimes when people reach their goal, they hold themselves back by becoming complacent. They do not have the drive to strive for more achievements. We want to emphasize that there are no boundaries to the goals that you set for yourself. To do that, this design represents a planet in outer space to remind us that we should always shoot for the stars and aim higher.
When designing our collection, we wanted our products to inspire others to follow their own path. We want customers to feel empowered to be themselves and create a legacy that can inspire others to do the same.
Our ideas are limitless and so are we. We are not defined by the barriers of this world, and that's why we were inspired by using “outer space” in our design concepts. In space, things can grow infinitely and are constantly changing and adapting. The possibilities in space are endless.

For me, this collection is an example of how different people from many backgrounds can use their winning spirit to encourage them!

What does this collection mean to you?
This collection tells me that I can push myself to the limits and don’t let things get in my way. This also helps with my confidence and gives me a chance to be myself.

I want the customers to know that I am somebody that wants to reach higher than my own limits and keep pushing through any challenges or obstacles that come my way. Throughout this project, I also found team members that shared the same feelings to the way I feel.

This collection means that I can share my ideas and win with the world through my designs. I learned that I can tell a story through a simple picture and I’m able to express myself beyond the barriers that the world keeps placing on me.

What does this collection mean to you?
What I learned was that there is so much more that goes into creating a product collection than just deciding what the design should be. Also having to work with a team and come to a group decision can be challenging.
